You may have seen us, literally coming out of the water. Or wondered what is happening with that new development on the Halifax waterfront. When completed, this exceptional building will be mixed-use with hospitality, office, commercial, and residential tenants. Covering over 450,000 sqf, this unparalleled building utilizes the newest technology including a District Energy Plant, enabling passive heating and cooling using sea water and active chilled beam technology.We are presently seeking a full time a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the role will assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance for all building systems and mechanical equipment of Queen’s Marque.The Maintenance Technician will have the ability to follow instructions and implement company practices and procedures while maintaining open and fluid communication with team members. They will be physically comfortable completing repairs and maintenance work. The Maintenance Technician will respond to tenant and guest work orders from the hotel, residences, commercial office, retail and food & beverage.The successful candidate will have 2 - 5 years experience working within Hospitality or Commercial Office Building maintenance. A positive attitude paired with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service is a must. The Maintenance Technician will require a clean drivers abstract as well as the ability to obtain CISD security clearance. Experience with minor maintenance work and repairs and familiarity with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems is considered an asset.The opportunity to join Queen’s Marque at its very beginning is an exciting one, as we establish a new district and community in our city.
