Job Description

Totally Raw Pet Food is expanding again, and we find ourselves in need of a Full Time Maintenance Technician. Alternatively, resumes with cover letters may be dropped off at our head office location at 50 Thorne Ave., Dartmouth.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preventative Maintenance Programs.
  • Equipment, repairs, and property maintenance.
  • Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • General maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
  • Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
  • Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Job requirements:
  • Post-Secondary education in a trade is required (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, etc).
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing is considered an asset.
  • Understand general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of computer software including Gmail and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
