This role works closely with the QEII New Generation project and NS Lands Healthcare Infrastructure Projects (HIP) program to successful delivery consistency in the facility infrastructure deployed across the province.The HIP technology program was established to manage purchasing of all ICT equipment for large Healthcare infrastructure capital construction projects (identifying, creating specifications, purchasing, receiving, commissioning, etc). This program is established and over 25 redevelopment projects are already underway in various stages of planning and implementation.As the Manager, Health Infrastructure Project Redevelopment, you play a lead role in ensuring our health business partners’ healthcare facilities redevelopment projects are prioritized, staffed and technology delivered to meet the health care needs of Nova Scotians.About Our OpportunityIn the manager role you will be part of a team that manages the Information, Communications, Automation Technology (ICAT) deployments within healthcare facilities redevelopment projects. This includes all major capital projects including the QEII New Generation Projects, funded through NS Lands, NS Public Works, the Department of Health and Wellness (DHW), Nova Scotia Health (NSH) and Isaak Walton Killam (IWK) Hospital.
