Our fully equipped fitness centre, on-site Chop Steakhouse & Bar, and underground parking are a few of the amenities that provide the ultimate in service, comfort, and style unique to our well-appointed location.Our dedication to the health and safety of our guests, employees and partners is paramount and we follow our PureClean program- Staying Safe Together.The key to providing this exceptional service level is our team and we are currently considering candidates for the following position:Night Audit AgentKey ResponsibilitiesThis is an overnight shift and begins at 11:00pm. The successful candidate will consistently provide a warm welcome and exceptional experiences to our guests in a prompt and courteous manner within the framework of hotel and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Check-in and check-out servicesAnswering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests and assisting in resolving and concerns or issues in person or via telephonePrepare, check, and correct room rate variances by conducting thorough auditsEnsure wake-up calls are set for the morning to ensure accuracy & complete as requiredRuns the nightly processing sequence to reset systems for the next days usePrepares and transmits credit card depositsBalance the rooms auditKeep team informed of all problems, emergencies and unusual matters of significanceAdheres to all established credit and inventory control proceduresPresent statement of charges to departing guests and receive paymentIdentify and record special billing instructions and notify AccountingMinimize loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit and inventory control proceduresEnsure the security of keys, company and guest informationReport unsafe work conditions, areas requiring repair or suspicious personsMust be able to assist with parking and retrieving of guest vehicles if requiredAssisting with emergency response as requiredQualifications:This is an excellent opportunity for an, energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual, with a minimum 2 years previous customer service experience.1 years previous guest service/front desk or accounting experience is requiredPrevious professional experience requiring the use of a computer is requiredStrong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA (or similar) and additional languages are an asset.A valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract; the ability to drive manual (standard) vehicles is an asset.Proven, exceptional guest service and communication (both verbal and written) skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesPosition requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.This position starts August 17th, 2020SUMMATION:Submission of resume does not guarantee an interview or an actual transfer.
