You will contribute within our rapidly expanding security operations centre, where we provide an array of services including managed detection and response, intelligence, vulnerability management and threat hunting. Our people are our most valuable asset, and we encourage career growth and development opportunities for every individual on our team.Our team is looking for an Operations Manager, specializing in Cybersecurity Threat Management to join the Lixar team and own the following responsibilities:As a manager and leader in our SOC, your responsibilities will include:

• Expand BDO #39;s capabilities in the area of threat detection and response services
• Enhance our threat modelling and defensive planning capability
• Continuously innovate our digital risk protection and attack surface management capabilities
• Improve SOC integrations to improve the speed and quality of delivery
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent while managing workload demand and capacity
• Engage with clients to deliver threat management and response planning, day to day operations support, and incident management support
• Work with the cyber leadership team to identify and develop new capabilities which we will take our clients and BDO into the future of cybersecurity

Your experience and education

• Knowledge and experience with security operations, next generation security operations, cloud security, access management, monitoring, security architecture, and IT service Management
• Strong talent leadership skills with a proven track record of developing individuals and teams
• Strong understanding of managed security services including managed detection and response, intelligence, vulnerability management, threat hunting and incident response
• Knowledge of security threats and common vulnerabilities for legacy and cloud environments
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships
• Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
• Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks and industry recognized security frameworks
