Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Part-Time Academic 0.33 of CMSD 6390 Voice/Resonance Disorders Winter 2023Posting Number PTAP1725PDepartment/Unit Communication Sciences & DisordersLocation HalifaxJob Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThe Sessional Lecturer will teach 33% (four lectures) of the one-half credit course, CMSD 6390: Voice/Resonance Disorders, in the Master of Science program in speech-language pathology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the winter term January to April 2023. Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course, and reports to the Director of the School.Qualifications/Requirements of PositionA graduate degree, expertise in the area of resonance disorders in children and adults, and relevant teaching experience.Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective AgreementAdditional InformationAll offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
