Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Part-Time Academic CRWR 3410 Writing for Children: Picture Books Winter 2023Posting Number PTAP1692PDepartment/Unit EnglishLocation HalifaxJob Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesA part-time academic is required to teach CRWR 3410.03, Writing for Children: Picture Books, in the 2023 Winter term. This course is scheduled for Fridays, 1135-1425. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the classes, including lectures, workshops, and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.Qualifications/Requirements of PositionApplicants should hold an MA or MFA in Creative Writing or another relevant field with at least one recently published book. Demonstrated expertise in current pedagogical methods of teaching at the post-secondary level is required for this position.
