Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Part-Time Academic (SLWK 5003, “Critical Clinical Practice Foundations for Social Work Intervention”, Campus, Fall 2022)Posting Number PTAP1529PDepartment/Unit Social WorkLocation HalifaxJob Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesWORK ASSIGNMENT: The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: SLWK 5003, “Critical Clinical Practice Foundations for Social Work Intervention”. The course will be offered in the Fall term, from September-December 2022.For a full course description, please refer to the Dalhousie Academic Calendar. To confirm class times and locations, please refer to the Academic Timetable 2022-23.The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures and preparation and grading of assignments. In addition, the part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations for one-two months preceding course delivery.Qualifications/Requirements of PositionREQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: A Master of Social Work degree, or higher, and previous teaching experience is preferred.
