Job Description

Parts and Compliance Administrator – Part TimeSOUTHLAND is currently seeking a part-time Parts and Compliance Administrator to join our team in Dartmouth. This is a part-time opportunity working approximately 15 - 20 hours per week.The Parts and Compliance Administrator will be responsible for various jobs in the shop and maintain data entry for parts, receiving parts and collecting, auditing, and filing vehicle pre-trip inspections and drivers hours of service logs.Requirements:

  • High school education, supplemented by college coursework or industry specific designations (supply chain management for example)
  • Planning/scheduling experience, mechanical background/knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Previous customer service/admin experience
  • Experience in inventory control, specifically in the Bus or Trucking/Transportation industry preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Parts inventory and replenishment
  • Receiving and entering parts in computerized maintenance system
  • Collect, audit, and file vehicle pre-trip inspections and drivers hours of service logs
  • Monthly inventory management/cycle count
  • Adhere to company standards and processes in the completion of assigned tasks
  • Work with supervision to maintain schedule compliance and priorities
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 15-20 per weekSalary: $16.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
