We have been selling propane for over 15 years and today have a very successful propane delivery business. We expanded into the HVAC business with the same passion and excellence we offer in our other business services.The Parts and Service Technician is responsible to provide excellent customer service experience on the installation and servicing of company products.What we offer: · Competitive salaries· Employee benefits· Company eventsResponsibilities· Follow the standard operating procedures with respect to installation and service of Ultimate Home Comfort products.· Call customer when on route to job sites.· Treat customer with courtesy.· Diagnose technical issues with any of our products and appliances.· Maintain proper safety equipment (work safe).· Keep service vehicle (or trucks) neat, organized and properly stocked.· Collect customer balances upon service completion.· Follow the company’s uniform guidelines· Drive safely and abide by vehicle road laws and regulations.· Turn in any cheque or cash payments to Parts & Service Lead.· Provide notes on the completed job details into EVOSUS through cell phone app.· Complete 5 service orders scheduled for each day.· Stock truck with required parts to last a few days.· Work an on-call rotation (one week duration at a time).· Daily vehicle service inspection must be completed, form filled in and signed and provided to Parts and Service Lead.SkillsThe incumbent must be able to work independently and have the ability to lead and mentor team members to achieve results. Must have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must have good time management skill, ability to cope with change to work in fast paced environment. Gas Tech 2 license is required for this position. WETT certification would be an asset. Experience in working on propane fireplaces, wood fireplaces, electric fireplaces, boilers, water heaters, pellet stoves and propane furnace.Working ConditionsHeavy physical lifting may be required as an integral part of the position, but must be performed according to safe lifting practices. Working on ladders is a routine part of this position, the incumbent must be able to work on higher elevations.Hours of workHours of work will be scheduled for regular Monday to Friday, however, hours will vary. Overtime is part of the position and when required, overtime is paid for any week over 48 hours.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $35.00-$45.00 per hourSchedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Class G License (required)
• Gas Tech 2 License (required)
