We look forward to telling you all about our energetic company culture and welcoming team.Position OverviewThe purpose of this position is to provide patients across our province the option to connect virtually with medical care alongside a team of virtual physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and clinical professionals.Primary Care Physicians will attend to medical needs virtually and provide patients without a family doctor timely and accurate level of care utilizing their clinical judgment and protocols provided. Hours of care will be from 8am to 8 pm Monday to Friday. We will work with you to establish a schedule that works for you within those hours of care.We are looking for experienced and dependable Physicians who have a reputation for providing top-quality health care services. There are full-time and part-time opportunities available. • Provide appropriate virtual primary health care to patients from across the province who do not have a primary care provider.
• Exercise clinical judgement in combination with utilization of protocols to arrive at the appropriate diagnosis to provide a timely and accurate level of care to patients
• Submit referrals for appropriate diagnostic testing or specialized medical needs as required
• Promptly complete confidential medical records as per company documentation standards
• Provide clear and concise information and direction during patient encounters

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized School of Medicine
• An active Canadian MD license, in good standing with a provincial medical regulatory body
• History of exceptional clinical performance
• Proficiency in English; bilingual skills would be considered an asset
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and technology, including telephone systems, software programs, and computer programs
