Job Description

OverviewThe Project Manager responsible for leading assigned end to end innovation process leveraging High Liner #39;s Stageamp; Gate Process and MS project management tool. The Project Manager is accountable to ensure the delivery of projects in accordance with Critical path and supporting processes across the organization including Innovation and renovation. Project Managers work closely with key cross-functional business teams to ensure flawless execution through all project lifecycle phases, including initiation, selection, analysis, design, development, integration and test, implementation, and benefits realization.Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify and establish process standards for how projects are run including the development of a common set of practices, principles and templates.
  • Managing the development of new and innovative products projects using High Liner Stageamp; Gate process.
  • Leveraging robust project management communication and tools (MS Project, Spreadsheets, Monday.com) to ensure on-time product launches
  • Work with internal customers to identify business issues, problems and/or enhancements.
  • Ensure that all key business stakeholders are represented on the project team and help to identify/close skill or knowledge gaps in order to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Manage, monitor, and report project progress.
  • Lead to the development of project charters, project scope along with performance metrics to clearly identify and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Direct change management activities: oversee assessments and root cause analysis, prioritize changes for implementation, and provide approvals for change requests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor #39;s Degree in Business or a related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of management experience with demonstrated experience delivering high quality business unit projects on time.
  • Project Manager experience in the CPG Industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a plus.
  • Experience in the Foodservice channel is a plus.
  • Previous Stage and Gate processes experience
  • Thorough, highly organized and disciplined.
  • Proven ability to drive speed of execution in the organization and move projects through various phases.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence people.
  • Proven ability to remove barriers and resolve conflicts across functions, teams, and the organization to build consensus.
  • A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Critical thinking and multitasking
Travel
  • Expected travel for this role is 10 to 25%
  • Required to hold and maintain a valid Passport.
