A collaborative endeavor across the Faculties of Dentistry, Health and Medicine at Dalhousie University, the Health Innovation Sandbox broadly addresses issues related to health and wellness. Its mandate is to develop and deliver curricular and extra-curricular education and training at all academic levels in these Faculties, focused on identifying real-world problems, and developing and implementing science-based solutions through commercialization, knowledge mobilization or other business models. Pulse, the Health Innovation Sandbox complements those established in the Faculties of Science (Surge), Engineering (idea), Agriculture (Cultiv8) and Computer Science (ShiftKey Labs). Reporting to the Associate Dean of Research for Health, the Sandbox Manager is responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the sandbox, managing programming, and engaging the public and other stakeholders such as students, industry and other universities.Key Responsibilities
