Job Description

Serving a customer base across seven provinces, our advanced solutions include Internet, Mobile, TV, Telephone, Security and Automation, Data Communications and exclusive locally produced programming on Eastlink Community TV.We embrace diversity, inclusion, equity and accessibility throughout all levels of the organization and encourage members of equity groups to self-identify during the application process.Reporting to the Manager of Real Estate & Occupancy, this position is responsible for the management and administration (with an emphases on accounts payable) of existing and new contract agreements related to real properties for (telecommunications and multi service provider infrastructure, including agreement renewals, change amendments for term escalators, regular payments, reimbursements, property tax bills, lease facility cost reconciliations, occupancy and general communications. This position will have frequent interactions with other carriers and private land and building owners to implement one off and reoccurring payments related to telecommunications infrastructure (i.e. rental payments for land lease which support telecom towers, rooftop antenna installations, payments to tower owners for leased space for equipment installations, etc.).Responsibilities:

  • Creating and updating reoccurring payments through interaction with accounts payable for permanent entries
  • Processing term escalators, reimbursements of property tax bills, accrual of payments (both receivables and payables)
  • Assist with maintaining the agreement portfolio through ensuring the data base remains current
  • Conduct online property database research in support of acquisitions
  • Handling of administrative matters related to the acquisition and management of real estate
  • Conduct communications and liaise with other company representatives and external parties
  • Maintaining contract and real estate management system
Qualifications:
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience.
  • Paralegal or equivalent experience would be considered an asset.
  • Professional confidence related to contract agreements
  • Experienced with accounts payable and can demonstrate strong investigative and analytical skills with an attention for detail.
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple files,
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, deadline and results orientated environment
  • Organized and well equipped to prioritize and manage projects across multiple departments.
