Job descriptionSimply For Life - Halifax (locations in Halifax, Dartmouth and Bedford) is looking for a friendly, energetic individual to join our team! We are a well-established, Canadian franchise company with 40+ locations across Canada. As a group of boutique Weight Management and Wellness Centers with a focus on Lifestyle Improvement through Nutrition, Preventative Health and Weight Management, our centers offer private Nutrition Coaching and a Natural Market under one roof!We are seeking a friendly, self-directed, organized individual with a passion for health and wellness and a commitment to helping our customers. Air-traffic control is the best way to describe this position as you will be responsible for Reception, Front of Store Sales & Client Experience.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To respond immediately to any customer inquiries and requests, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times
  • To provide accurate descriptions and pricing information on our private nutrition counseling services
  • To manage, organize and schedule client appointments
  • To process payments, balance daily deposits,
  • To fill and maintain displays of natural foods and products, ensuring merchandise meets Company standards;
  • To actively approach customers in a friendly manner to promote natural products;
  • To recommend health food products, supplements and related products to customers as appropriate;
  • To create content and post information to social media channels
  • To perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for someone who loves to smile and lives a positive, healthy lifestyle.The ideal candidate would possess:
  • 1 year of health food experience, preferably in a retail food environment
  • 1 year of receptionist experience, preferably in health/wellness environment
  • Experience or knowledge in holistic medicine, nutrition, homeopathy and/or herbal medicine
  • Experience in developing and delivering social media content on various channels
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent at collaborating with others in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of the wellness industry
  • Takes pride in personal wellness
  • Punctual, reliable and dedicated to clients
  • Professional, friendly and approachable
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with awareness of surroundings
  • Familiarity with retail software and point-of-sale systems and ability to learn new programs
Training, knowledge and interest in Nutrition, Wellness, Fitness, Retail Sales, Reception, Administration and Social Media considered to be assets. You must have a means of transportation and be willing and able to work at multiple locations. Must be available to work some evenings until 7pm and weekends.Only those considered will be contacted.Job Types: Permanent, Part-timePart-time hours: 18-20 per weekSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourBenefits:
