Receptionist (Part-Time), Corporate Office – Halifax, NSKillam Apartment REIT (TSX:KMP.UN), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.We are currently searching for an experienced and customer focused Receptionist to support our Corporate Office in Halifax. This individual will play a key role in the delivery of quality customer service to existing tenants, prospective tenants, business partners and staff.Responsibilities for this position include:•Hours of work 12:30pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday;•Answering and directing incoming calls;•Welcoming and assisting walk-in guests;•Maintaining and clean and safe lobby area;•Processing payments;•Ordering and maintaining office supplies;•Arranging for office equipment service;•Maintaining the condition of meeting rooms;•Preparing and distributing mail/courier packages;•Maintaining electronic calendars and contact files.Qualifications for this position include:•Two or more years of reception or professional customer service experience;•Completion of an Administration diploma is preferred;•Proven communication skills, both written and oral;•Warm and welcoming demeanor;•Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities;•Excellent computer skills with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word.We offer competitive wages, a comprehensive group benefit plan, dependent scholarship program, and the opportunity to own a piece of Killam through our Employee Unit Purchase Plan.Application: Please complete the online application form.Closing date: Friday, May 21, 2021.Killam is an equal opportunity employer.
