Job Description

Samuel & Co.Established in Halifax, NS in 1996 Samuel & Co., has focused its initiatives on providing the ladies of Atlantic Canada with boutique fashions in the convenience of a mall setting. Today, Samuel & Co. is thriving with its nine stores across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.Do you have a keen eye for fashion Do you work well in a team environment Do you believe in connecting with the customer and building a relationship to shape the perfect shopping experience Then Samuel & Co. is looking for you!Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Provide customers with exceptional one on one service to create lasting relationships and customer loyalty
  • Meet or exceed sales goals through selling and service
  • Maintain store visual standards throughout your shift
  • Create customer awareness of current promotions and new product
  • Be a positive member of the selling team and support fellow co-workers at all levels of the selling process
  • Collaborate with merchandising and visual displays
  • Participate in stock receiving and processing when needed
Requirements include:
  • Passionate about the retail culture and a strong appreciation for style
  • Excellent selling abilities (previous selling experience considered an asset)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail to reduce shrink
  • An upbeat, positive attitude
