We are looking for an Sales Associate to meet the needs of our growing business. If you are interested in joining a company committed to their clients and their team then we are interested in, YOU!DESCRIPTIONAs Salesperson, you are responsible for supporting the operation of the store, ensuring maximum salesand profitability through product knowledge, merchandising and inventory control. In addition, thisposition is responsible for increasing customer confidence and loyalty by promoting and executingconsistent operating conditions, providing personalized, knowledgeable service in a warm, inviting storeenvironment.RESPONSIBILITIES· Ensure that each customer receives excellent customer service by providing a friendly· environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, and solid product knowledge.· Understand and support store operations, policies, and procedures.· Support in-store events as directed by the Store Manager (wine tasting, contest, promotions) with internal and external partners.· Safeguard and account for all money and responsibility for all banking requirements.· Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. Complete other general cleaning tasks, such as mopping floors, and emptying trash cans.· Observe customers and check identification for proof-of-age; deny sale of alcohol to underage or intoxicated customers.· Notify Store Manager of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy.SKILLS AND QUALIFICAITONS· Ability to work independently and as a team· Physical Requirements includeo Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbso Standing for long periods of timeQUALIFICATIONS
