You represent the Le Rouge brand are the ambassador to what our experience has to offer. You will help to tailor the experience to suit each and every guest and deliver to the highest standard. This means that you must both look and act professional to instill confidence in the guests, many of whom are dining with Le Rouge for the first time. You build the trust of our guests and you provide clarity of what is about to begin. You are the one responsible for introducing the guest to the experience by telling our story, providing menu recommendations and accompanying beverage and extending to them the premium experience that the brand carries.Server Job DescriptionThe server is responsible for the overall dining experience of each guest. The server plays a key role in creating the vibe and an environment where our guests feel relaxed and engaged. Be yourself, have fun and create a memorable and lasting impression whereby every one of our guests can’t wait to come back. Your passion for the guest experience is the cornerstone of our success.Role of the Server

  • Provide suggestions and pairing recommendations for food & drinks based on their dining choices

Position KPIs and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates high-level knowledge of Le Rouge concept including all products, policies and promotions.
  • Possesses knowledge of property including property information, amenities, phone number and hours of operation
  • Provides exceptional table service - taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen while following all standards as it pertains to each task
  • Never turns their back on a standard
  • Delivers all food and beverages to our guests gracefully and with a sense of urgency
  • Accurately processes bills and takes payment without delay
  • Handles guest concerns with and without the support of the management team
  • Provides the highest quality of service at all times in all guest interactions
  • Clearing, setting, polishing and cleaning tables, glassware & utensils
  • Preparation and cleanliness of dining room & service stands before, after & during each service
  • Proper adherence to all cash handling procedures as outlined in company policies
  • Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies
  • Ensures safe and responsible alcohol service as per all Serve Right Regulations
  • Ensures food is presented with exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests
Qualifications

Job Requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
  • Must meet minimum provincial age for serving alcohol
  • Minimum of 1 year related serving experience
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 25lbs, must be able to stoop and bend
  • Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
  • Current and valid Serve Right certification
