Job Description

Tusket Falls Beer Project in Halifaxs North End is looking to add a Full Time Server/Social Media Manager to our team!This is a unique position that combines both Serving and Social Media Management into one role. Were looking for a friendly, craft beer lover with a positive attitude and strong work ethic who thrives in a fast paced (and fun!) team environment. Youll be responsible for managing our social media presence, as well as serving and conversing with guests in our taproom. We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated person who has a love for the craft beer industry, and is excited to share their love of craft beer with our guests both online and in our taproom.Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Generating social media content and consistently posting to Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc.
  • Maintain a social media content calendar for all active and future social media channels
  • Answering messages and interacting with the community through our online platforms
  • Initiating paid promotion/marketing and running online contests
  • Most importantly, helping to develop and establish a brand for Tusket Falls Brewing Company and our online presence
Serving Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat customers, as well as take food and drink orders
  • Pour and serve craft beer
  • Have knowledge (or are eager to learn) about craft beer. We’re happy to provide support for those who are excited to learn!
  • Work to provide the best possible experience to all guests. This includes carrying out regular cleaning duties to maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
Social Media experience is required for this position. Were looking for someone who is proficient in and has a love for Social Media and Marketing. Serving experience is preferred, however, those with the enthusiasm, willingness to learn and ability to quickly adapt will also be considered.
