Our employees are our strongest asset, so if you are looking for a challenging, rewarding, and exciting career, we invite you to apply today.Steele Ford Lincoln has an immediate requirement for a Service Video Advisor in Halifax, NS.The Service Video Advisor will take a video of ongoing repairs to client vehicles, keeping them updated on progress, and allowing them a chance to be part of the decision-making process. This role will also involve maintaining a tidy environment both in the shop and on the lot, as well as other duties assigned by the Service Manager. This is an entry-level position, providing the opportunity to gain a rewarding career with Atlantic Canada’s largest automotive group. The ideal candidate would have automotive knowledge, but we are happy to train the right person. This role will also require the Videographer to provide backup as a Service Advisor when needed.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Precise video documentation of repairs on client vehicles
  • Proper explanation of the technicians’ vehicle prognosis on video
  • Efficient and prompt upload of video to the client
  • Cleanliness of service department
  • Service department support when and where required
Requirements:
  • Be comfortable explaining service processes on camera (voice only)
  • Be prompt, punctual and detailed orientated
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract.
