Livewell will guide participants through a progressive exercise strategy from Rehabilitation to Stabilization to Transition into lifelong fitness.The goal of Livewell is to help adults remain active and functionally fit within their own communities. The program is overseen by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist who can modify and adapt exercise routines to individual needs. Through education and proper modifications, participants will develop the confidence to include barrier-free exercise as part of an active lifestyle and general well-being.In the tri-county area, LiveWell in Southwest Nova Scotia will initially focus on developing delivery capacity throughout the region. The focus will be on aging adults with stable chronic conditions or an interest in preventing chronic disease through the benefits of physical activity.Responsibilities include:
