In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Halifax, NS is CAD $120k – CAD $130k/yearamp; benefits (see below).The RoleResponsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features
  • Debug and troubleshoot Node.js applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Stay up to date with the latest Node.js best practices and technologies
  • Continuously improve application performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of Node.js applications
Requirements:You are:
  • Minimum 8 yrs of exp. with Comprehensive NodeJS, JavaScript, ES6
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Authentication, encryption, cryptography, session/state management
  • Experience with Real-time systems integrations (Web Sockets/Kafka/Solace)
  • Experience with Express / GraphQL
  • Experience with Cronjobs, mailers, schedulers, webworkers
  • Experience with Advanced MongoDB/Reddis querying
  • Experience with Git/Docker/Kubernets
It would be great if you also had:
  • Experience with React/Redux.

  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies
