YOUR FOCUS The Sustainable Transportation Coordinator for the Pop-Up Bike Hub will work to support and maintain EAC’s active transportation work, ensuring strong connections to diverse transportation sector actors. Specifically, the role will be focused on the effective delivery of our Pop-Up Bike Hub program, which offers knowledge sharing and capacity building opportunities alongside free bicycle repairs/tune-ups, and safe cycling education throughout rural and equity deserving communities of Nova Scotia.The coordinator’s relationship-building skills help advance the active transportation file through partnership development and community and coalition-building. They work in a collaborative, impact-oriented environment with their team and other EAC colleagues and community, public, and private sector partners.This position requires extensive travel across Nova Scotia from May – September. Travel expenses will be covered but a valid Nova Scotia Class 5 driver’s license is required. Repairing bikes, organizing tools and supplies, and lifting bikes and other materials form part of the day-to-day physical demands of the job. Key elements of the position will be: Project Management:
