As a result, IMP Solutions has experience in many industries, including: all levels of government, education and higher learning, aerospace and defence, healthcare, financial services, communications, oil and gas, manufacturing and hospitality.IMP Solutions’ Aerospace Development and Support team is looking for a capable and well rounded individual to join their aircraft maintenance software support team in a DevOps support role. The successful candidate will work with a diverse set of tools and processes in order to provide exceptional customer service, as a part of our Aerospace support team.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for continuing the advancement of DevOps, Configuration as Code, and infrastructure build procedures.
  • Technologies in use: Docker, Ansible, Bamboo, SVN, VMWare, Veeam, Windows Server, and Oracle.
  • Strict configuration management of Servers, including, Operating System, Custom Software and utilities.
  • Regular Issue Management & Reporting.
  • Provide best-effort after hours support in conjunction with the larger support team.
Job Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology desirable, or equivalent work experience.
  • Diverse support skill set.
  • Have an understanding of basic networking.
  • Have excellent written & interpersonal skills.
  • Be a team player with a track record for meeting deadlines and managing a high level of responsibility.
  • Have a working knowledge of Ansible and Docker.
  • Have knowledge of database administration including working knowledge of SQL.
  • Background in Microsoft Server Administration, Active Directory, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Have a working knowledge of backup and data recovery procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Eligible to acquire enhanced reliability security clearance.
