It’s the defining attribute that we look for in our people.What do you need to succeedWork experience required: 7 - 10yrsSkill set: Java/J2EE, Groovy, Grails, GORM/Hibernate, Spring Boot , Oracle Database, Knowledge of IAM/Siteminder concepts, Rest/SOAP Webservices, HTML, CSS, JSON, JQuery, Javascript, Unix shell scripts, Source version control systems: Subversion/Git, Apache HTTP server, Weblogic application server, Jenkins and AWS experienceMust have skill:Should have strong knowledge on technical skills – Java/J2EE, Groovy.Should be able to co-ordinate with business for requirement gathering, effort estimation, coding and implementation.Should be able to review coding done by team.Prioritize issues raised and resolve problems/incidents accordingly.Coordinate escalations and resolution of major service issues.Report promptly to management and business partners regarding critical outages until resolution.Should have a good understanding of SDLCAnalyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.Plan and conduct activities to ensure productive system perform optimally, and consistently.Supervising project to ensure team follows the timeline and ensuring the team follows all required procedures.Good to have:Understanding of GxP compliance, Regulated and Validated applications.Knowledge of Mendix platform.Life Science domain knowledge.Kubernetes, Docker, Ranger knowledge.Responsibilities:Requirement gathering, coding, code review, unit & integration testing and implementation.Manage team to make sure all agreed deliverables (incidents, changes, problem tickets, etc.) are delivered on-time without missing SLAs.Change Management – Should be able to create change tickets, assess risks/impacts, represent in CAB review meetings and implement changes on respective environments.Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.Plan and conduct activities to ensure productive system perform optimally, and consistently.Collaborate with management to improve and customize reports related to production & infrastructure support.Conduct weekly/bi-weekly governance meetings with business/client to discuss about support/enhancement metrics and current/future pipeline and planning/execution.Drive Continuous Service Improvement, Transformation and Automation initiativesPrepare, maintain, track and report on the plan on weekly basisProvide technical oversight, work with Business on priority activitiesTrack and manage to ensure Change Orders are processed in a timely mannerManage the knowledge transition from the project team to the support teams, client employees, business partners, or 3rd party suppliers, etc. as neededCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Employee Status : Full Time EmployeeShift : Day JobTravel : NoJob Posting : Sep 06 2022About Cognizant Cognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the worlds leading professional services companies, transforming clients business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
