In addition the above-noted supervisory role, the successful applicant will also perform clinical duties within their fields of competency.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certificationNova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Minimum (3) three years’ experience required working as a technologist in a hospital setting, with recent experience in CT
  • Formal management course preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities in a multi-modality/site imaging department.
  • Ensures competency, maintains an ongoing interest in updating knowledge on new equipment and procedures
  • Practices excellent patient care; demonstrating courtesy, kindness and understanding using effective communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-developed decision making, analytical, interpretation, negotiation, and problem solving skills
  • Conflict management skills and knowledge of appropriate resources
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
