We’re proud to be Canada’s leading provider of broadband network and communication services for businesses and governments.Within the Bell Canada Business Market Enterprise segment, a Technical Consultant has the overall accountability to provide professional service consultation and implementation services to our customers. This dynamic role involves a wide variety of activities such as designing solutions to customer issues, preparing statements of work for the efforts involved in implementing these solutions, participating as a specialist in various client projects, testing, documenting, and implementing solutions and completing the hand-off to the customer (internal or external).The Technical Consultant – Exchange and Active Directory Specialist s acts as reference for their areas of speciality, define best practices and takes a proactive approach to maintain expertise. Our business model is highly customer-centric which has been a key factor in achieving industry-leading levels of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to suggest and implement solutions to improve the customer experience
  • Provide expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, while also providing guidance in areas such as DataCenter and Hybrid Cloud
  • Participate in the Presales estimation of project efforts
  • Provide communications to customers and executives throughout the project life cycle
Critical Qualifications/Competencies
  • 5 years or more industry experience
  • General Experience
    • Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts
    • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare 7.x/8.x)
  • Windows Experience:
    • In depth experience with Microsoft Exchange messaging solutions (On premise, migrations to online and fully cloud )
    • Experience in Microsoft Windows System Design/Administration in a production environment
    • Detailed working knowledge of Windows operating systems
    • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Windows automation
  • Unix Experience:
    • Working knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Linux, CentOS, Solaris)
  • Other Requirements:
    • Working knowledge of Backup technologies (NetBackup, Veeam, other)
    • Working knowledge of one of the Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
    • Ability to write technical documents
    • Ability to rapidly adapt to and adopt emerging technologies
    • Maintain quality and efficiency in a constantly evolving environment
    • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
    • Strong analytical skills and deductive reasoning capabilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Customer service orientation
    • Ability to not only identify issues but also offer solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences degree or equivalent
  • Vendor certifications form Microsoft, VMware, HP, Dell, Veeam other
