A willingness to improve and achieve are evident throughout the company because of focus on value added services for our customers, technological advances, and employee training.We are currently seeking a strong candidate to represent Source Atlantic in Halifax, NS as an:Technical Sales Specialist – CompressorsAs the Technical Sales Specialist the candidate will provide our customer base with value-add solutions using Ingersoll Rand compressors and associated products. The candidate will have a strong technical background in electro-mechanical equipment, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of compressed air equipment and systems.Preference will be given to those with industrial sales experience, especially within Nova Scotia.The responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide technical knowledge of compressed air equipment
  • Developing new compressed air sales opportunities
  • Promoting Ingersoll Rand compressors and product lines
  • Build strong and lasting customer relationships
  • Expand and optimize market sales
  • Effectively meet and/or exceed sales targets
  • Frequent travel to customer sites throughout Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland to provide technical service, define problems and provide solutions to the end user
  • Maintain CRM contacts and opportunities
Qualifications
  • Must have a degree/diploma in a related electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience
  • Must have electrical or mechanical sales experience
  • Must have strong time management skills.
  • Must be deadline focused
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Must have computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
