Job Description

Content Bloom is a close-knit international company with the headquarters based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’re an enterprise consulting agency who works for big name clients (we’re not the type to name drop, but think ‘known names’ and fortune 500s) using our expertise to build applications and integrate them with enterprise Content Management Systems (primarily SDL Tridion, Sitecore, and AEM). We are currently looking for a Technical Support Consultant to assist our Managed Services team.Qualifications - What you need to get the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Writing and analytical skills, preferably with a degree in computer science or engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work virtually (with Slack and Zoom)
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Experience with social media marketing and authoring content
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Ability to strongly voice your opinions, while still actively hearing others
  • Professional experience in CMS and/or web development
  • Professional experience working with Java, C#, or modern front-end frameworks
  • Knowledge / experience working in an Agile environment using JIRA
  • Experience working directly with clients would be an asset
  • Canadian Citizenship or authorization to work within Canada
  • The ability to work in the USA and willingness to travel globally (post Covid)

Life at Content Bloom - What you’ll do once you get the job (after you celebrate):·
  • Triage issues reported by clients, ensuring they are assigned to a support agent
  • Resolve issues reported by clients, ensuring that SLAs are met
  • Communicate with clients and internal resources as necessary to resolve issues
  • Maintain content using various CMSs, as requested by clients
  • Keep team knowledge base up to date
  • Generate monthly status reports for clients
  • Help to onboard new clients
  • Help to manage Jira service desk
  • Be part of the on-call rotation for clients who receive 24/7 support
  • Work with clients to develop a digital content strategy
  • Provide content analysis and propose new ideas
  • Propose improvements to business and system processes
  • Provide weekly reports to Project Leads and/or client(s)
  • Produce content for a variety of social media platforms
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology
