Job Description

If you are interested in working with leading edge software and a broad range of customer demographics, apply with us today.Position Description: The Technical Services Consultant will liaise directly with SolutionInc customers and other support consultants to provide technical consulting, installation services, system integration, SolutionIP™ software customization, network design and troubleshooting, project management, and training. Monitoring and pro-actively responding to dashboard alerts for remote network, remote network hardware and IoT hardware. Activities will also include the burn-in, setup, configuration of network hardware and IoT kit for remote deployments at customer sites.Other duties may include reviewing requirements and writing project plans, preparing technical estimates of work effort, developing, and deploying web pages, participating in customer meetings, and working as an integral part of delivery team.Qualifications and Experience:

  • Enrolled in Computer Science program
  • Experience with different operating systems (LINUX, MAC OS, Windows, Android)
  • Experience in C, Perl/CGI- SQL database experience (Postgres, MySQL)
  • Communications programming (basic understanding of TCP/IP communications, UDP, sockets, serial port programming interfacing, etc.)
  • Network setup and configuration for LINUX Operating System
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
Optional / Desirable Experience:
  • Experience with IoT hardware, setup and configuration
  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Multi-lingual
