Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in the selection process.The GRC Analyst supports AXIS’ Business Technology Solutions (BTS) organization in information technology governance, risk, and compliance activities. BTS’ main locations include Bermuda, New York, Zurich, London, Alpharetta, Chicago and Halifax.The position holder actively interacts with AXIS’ Internal Audit organization and BTS leaders and team members, and is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of self-audits of key IT risk areas, evaluating the impact of major IT projects on controls, tracking the remediation of audit findings, and facilitating compliance activities for the BTS organization. Individual will learn about a broad range of IT processes and influence continuous improvement of the IT control environment.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with the planning and execution of self-assessments of key IT risk areas, identifying control gaps, and partnering with the BTS teams to develop remediation plans.
• Evaluating the impact of major IT projects on controls, i.e. determining if controls need to be modified or new controls added to the control set.
• IT compliance assessment response coordination.
• Audit and self-identified issue status tracking and reporting.
• Facilitating internal and external audit activities as liaison with the BTS organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, IT Audit, Management Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT internal or external auditing preferred. Related experience in IT risk management, compliance, or information security also considered.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification a plus.
• Can execute many standard analyses independently, with minimal support. Although support and guidance is available as needed, to help resolve problems and provide ongoing development and advice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface with key stakeholders and leaders.
• Shares knowledge effectively within the work team and provides information effectively to internal customers.
