This is a national program with an active team in Nova Scotia comprised of members from medicine, nursing, allied health and family partners. Our TREKK Nova Scotia (TREKK NS) team is based at IWK Health and has connections to hospitals throughout Atlantic Canada.Under the supervision of Dr. Shannon MacPhee, the TREKK Project Coordinator will be part of the collaborative TREKK NS team. The main goal of this position is to coordinate the development and successful completion of new resources on pediatric meningitis aimed at patients/families and health care providers. Resources aimed at health care providers include a graphic algorithm for meningitis management, podcast, video, interactive online teaching module, teaching video on lumbar puncture. Parent resources will include an animated, educational video.This position reports to the TREKK NS Project Manager (Clinical). However, tasks and instructions may be delegated from other team members within the TREKK NS. This is a Part-time Term position working an average of 18.75 hours per week for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
