Happy Kids - Novaread exists to unlock the learning potential within children to allow for the highest level of success in their school life. We work with families who are motivated to invest in their childrens health and education. We provide relief to these families through the diagnoses and remediation of language based learning difficulties. Literacy, Comprehension, Expressive Language including Speech as well as Mathematics are our areas of expertise.Our programs are tailored to our students and delivered in a one to one setting. The individual we are looking for will be part of team delivering these programs. The successful candidate must be compassionate, highly accountable and willing to accept that given our intent as a company and our responsibility to our students there will be a very high expectation placed on their work.We use programs authored by Lindamood Bell and training in these programs will be provided and ongoing. Previous experience with Lindamood Bell is not required however it would be an asset as would previous experience working with children.Previous applicants have a background in education. However, successful candidates may instead have a background in childcare, coaching, youth leadership, camp counseling, mentoring, or the performing arts.If successful your average work day, after your initial training period is over, will involve being part of a small team, working one to one with amazing children, delivering powerful and proven programs, changing young lives and creating happy kids.We are looking for a keen, creative, energetic candidate who is fun, eager to learn and would love to spend their days working with children.Candidates must have a vehicle to travel between Halifax and Bedford each day.**Only candidates submitting a cover letter with resume will be considered.***This is a full time position.
