We value our employees and strive to offer an environment of challenge, continued growth and learning opportunities.Career OpportunityWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced full time Order Picker to join our Distribution Centre team located in Halifax, NS. Our ideal candidate has a positive & collaborative ‘can-do’ attitude with great attention to detail and drive to reach targets. Those looking for a role where they can contribute and learn in equal measure will fit in well.Responsibilities

  • Accurately & efficiently pick, assemble, and load orders for shipment while maintaining targets
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols are adhered to
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities
  • Performing general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Work effectively as a team, use and learn from each others knowledge and support your co-workers
  • Demonstrate our company culture and values
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications & Core Competencies
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • Warehouse experience is an asset, but not required – full training provided
  • Experience using a Pallet Jack and Forklift is an asset, but not required - full training provided
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multi-tasker with solid attention to detail
  • Positive and self-motivated
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Proven track record of reliability and safety
  • Thrive in a team setting and able to work independently
  • Steel toed shoes required
AdditionalLocation: 3695 Barrington Street, Halifax, NS B3K 2Y3Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours), Permanent. OT starts at 40 hours.Schedule: Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime on evenings and weekends may be required as needed to meet business needs.Compensation: We’re proud to offer a fair, competitive, and equitable process to determining your hourly wage that is based on your skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
