Inclusive Living Supervisor (RPN)Non-Union, 2 year contract - 37.5 hours per weekLocation: Hamilton, ONRygiel Supports for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the community who have a developmental disability, as well as other varying abilities. Our mandate is to enable each person to lead a fulfilled and participatory life within the community. Rygiel will be embarking on thequot;Journey to Belonging: Choice and Inclusion. quot; This initiative lays out the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ long-term vision for developmental services in Ontario. Our goal is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities are fully supported to participate in their communities.POSITION SUMMARYThe Inclusive Living Supervisor #39;s primary focus is to foster an inclusive, supportive environment that enhances the well-being of the individuals served. This role centers on coordinating and optimizing the delivery of services within Inclusive Living, ensuring that staff are effectively scheduled to provide the best possible care. The Supervisor also plays a crucial role in overseeing the direct support staff, emphasizing the health and safety of both the individuals served and the team. While focusing on these supports, the Supervisor is also responsible for the financial stewardship of the program. This includes managing budgets, overseeing expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to support the program #39;s operational needs. Working under the guidance of the Inclusive Living Manager, the Supervisor ensures that all activities comply with applicable legislation, funder requirements, and organizational policies and procedures, thereby maintaining high standards of service and financial integrity. The Inclusive Living Supervisor will work in a manner which effectively models and reinforces RYGIEL’s established Vision, Mission, Values, attitudes and standards of support.
