Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have design, mold, paint, assembly and testing capabilities. Tiercon manages 5 sites across 2 cities employing approximately 550 people throughout Canada. Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Maintenance Supervisor at our 591 Arvin Ave. location.Job Summaryamp; Reporting Structure:Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all plant and processing equipment in safe and good working order. In addition, they will assist in the resolution of equipment problems and the installation of new equipment. They will be responsible for supervising all maintenance technicians, ensuring the policies and procedures outlined in the ISO9001:2015 AND IATF 16949 Quality System are adhered to and continuous improvement is practiced wherever possible.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain all plant facility related equipment in safe and good working order, ensuring minimal breakdowns and ongoing compliance to government environmental and production standards.
  • Oversee the operations of the Paint maintenance department, ensuring all required Pm maintenance and repair maintenance is completed, and recorded in our computerized Maintenance Program. Maintained, documented and effective as per the procedures outlined in the ISO9001:2015 AND IATF 16949 Quality System ensuring maintenance department goals are met.
  • Daily, Weekly, plan, organize, co-ordinate and monitor maintenance schedules; with the Maintenance Manager. Perform major maintenance items required during shutdowns.
  • Find, coordinate, supervise contractors for repairs beyond our team members skills or capacity.
  • Equipment related downtime on paint line achieve targets and improve
  • Root cause major downtime and implement corrective actions (redesign, PM increased frequency, training, monitoring)
  • Repairamp; Maintenance Spend monitoramp; improve to budget
  • Manage maintenance personnel, resolving concerns, reviewing performance, and maintaining morale, discipline and ensuring all personnel are properly trained and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the ISO9001:2015 AND IATF 16949 Quality System.
  • Maintain equipment associated with the painting operation. Assist Production and Engineering in resolving production problems, i.e. Unscheduled down time, bottlenecks, air balance, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure the set-up and maintenance of the programs for the Robot and that maintenance and control room cages are organized, labeled and well stocked with spare parts.
  • Organize and perform weekly routine and other maintenance issues, and in conjunction with the Manager of Maintenance/Engineering Services, plan, organize co-ordinate and perform other major maintenance required during shutdowns.
  • Using our requisition system, order new and or replacement parts.
  • Make recommendations for improving maintenance procedures, Oversee the improvement into our computerized maintenance system.
  • Provide a monthly report for maintenance and repair as well as compared to performance to goals.
  • Comply with all health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations #39;, ensuring a safe work environment at all times through enforcement, promotion and improvement of the Company #39;s health and safety practices.
  • Day shift, however flexible schedule, with Saturday overtime, usually 4 to 5 hours to oversee Preventative Maintenance and repairs.
