Job DescriptionWhat you #39;re responsible for:

Inspecting and sorting metal materials, such as aluminium, copper, steel, and alloys, according to established guidelines and specifications
Identifying and removing contaminants, non-recyclable items, and hazardous materials from the metal stream, ensuring the purity and quality of the recyclable metals
Separating different types of metals into designated bins or areas, following proper sorting procedures and ensuring compliance with recycling standards
Following all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including sorting stations, bins, and surrounding areas, to facilitate efficient sorting operations
Coordinating and communicating with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or concerns
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction, and provide suggestions to enhance sorting operations
Adhering to environmental regulations and company policies related to the handling, sorting, and disposal of metal materials
