Job Description

Position Summary:28+ hours per week with benefits.Reporting to the Store Manager, the Customer Sale and Service Representative 2 (CSSR 2) is responsible for serving and assisting customers in the selection and purchase of goods and services and/or fuel and fuel products to meet their needs. The Representative provides service in accordance with UFA’s Customer Service Policy and initiates and/or implements corrective action as required to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. This position cross-train in multiple functions of the store or site.Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to UFA’s customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Make sure that sales leads are completed or transferred to an outbound sales representative.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency with sales and receipts, and in balancing cash as directed. Prepare billings for customers and process payments. Key holder responsibilities may be required.
  • Assist with the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products as assigned.
  • Perform maintenance on inventory or cycle counts, as directed.
  • Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized in compliance with UFA standards.
  • Act as a keyholder when required.
  • Assist in the eCommerce process as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 diploma with 1-3 years of related experience. On the job training will be provided.
  • Cash handling, computer proficiency, previous customer service experience required.
  • Capable of physical labour; capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
  • Warehouse or yard and forklift experience considered an asset. In-house forklift certification provided.
  • The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a pre-employment drug (includes cannabis) and alcohol test as a condition of employment.
