Job Description

2022-2023 School Year.The Principal serves as the lead administrator of a school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member.Successful applicants will possess the following qualifications:

  • Principal’s qualifications according to Regulation 297 of the Education Act (Note: Applications will also be considered from those with a minimum of Part 1 – Principal’s Qualifications or currently enrolled in the Part 1 – Principal’s Qualifications with a commitment to complete Part 2.)
  • Completion of qualifications in Special Education and Religion
  • Teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications in at least two of Primary, Junior or Intermediate divisions
