Job Description – Installation ManagerWilson Solutions Ltd. Is looking to hire qualified applicants for the full-time Installation Manager position. Wilson Solutions is a family owned and operated business offering services throughout; Grey, Bruce, Huron, Perth, Wellington, Simcoe, Dufferin, Waterloo & Muskoka Counties. We look forward to growing our team with an Installation Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.The Installation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation portion of Wilson Solutions including but not limited to storage solutions (closets/garages), epoxy flooring, awnings, railings, and blinds. Depending on the size and duration of the project the Installation Manager may be performing the work with Wilson Solutions installers and external sub-contractors where required. The Installation Manager will also work closely with the Sales Reps to understand any customizations or specific needs for each install and will provide the most up to date status of the installation including but not limited to scheduled dates, date changes, confirming arrival of all materials for projects, and material or product issues. The Installation Manager will be responsible for all material handling and organization of materials for each project.DAY TO DAY MANAGEMENT: Team Management: - Oversee the operations of the Installation Team.- Hire, train, manage, and provide performance feedback for all installers.- Ability to hold a team accountable for quality execution and lead by example.- Debrief with installation team at start of each day to review jobs.- Debrief with installers throughout the day to check in on installations and ensure everything is done correctly and completely.- Answer any questions or concerns regarding installations.- Ensure all installations are done according to customer specifications and satisfaction.- Ensure all safety standards for all installations are adhered to.- Conduct regular meetings to ensure proper communication and safety training when required.Scheduling: - Plan and manage the installation schedule and resources for multiple projects simultaneously.- Manage all builder contracts and work with builders on installation timelines; manage all required documents and resources appropriately.- Attach all necessary documents to the schedule that support the installation.- Communicate with the sales manager of incomplete jobs, additional materials required for ordering, and return date to complete installation.- Willingness to travel and support the installation team.Material Handling: - Implement a quality control process to ensure installation materials have arrived undamaged and ready to be sent out for installation in advance of scheduled job.- Review all upcoming projects and pick materials required for each job; ensure all equipment needed to complete jobs are in stock and in working condition.- Ensure all equipment and materials required to complete installations are organized and packed onto trucks for the day.- Manage all company vehicles, equipment, and materials including but not limited to the general upkeep and ordering of supplies when required.- Manage and oversee purchasing of parts/equipment/supply inventory and distribution.- Prevent loss and damage of inventory.Customer Experience- Ensure all installations are performed and meets customers requirements and expectations.- When possible, visit installation sites to meet with customers.- Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with builders and subcontractors.Other Requirements: - Candidates should have a proven track record of managing installations or experience with similar work.- Proven track record of managing multiple staff and effectively planning and managing schedules.- Strong organizational skills will be key in scheduling installers.- Strong oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.- Excellent time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and multitask.- Attention to detail and quick problem-solving skills in a fast and evolving environment.- Ability to make clear and effective decisions.- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computers and software including Google Calendar, GMail, Google Drive, MS Word, and MS Excel.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentRate: Based on experience and qualificationsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:
