This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and enhance patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications and provide accurate information to patients regarding their use, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Conduct medication reviews and patient assessments to identify and resolve medication-related issues.
  • Provide guidance to healthcare providers on medication selection, dosage, and administration.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication therapy.
  • Stay informed about new medications, treatment protocols, and pharmacy laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • License as a pharmacist in the relevant province or state.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
