Job Description

On behalf of our client in downtown Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Experienced PowerBI reports writer to join our client’s team for the 4 months remote contract opportunity. The successful candidate will work with the finance team and the current developer to help with the creation of the financial reports. Required Skills:

  • Certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related combination of work.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Power BI and Excel, preference for Microsoft Certified.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL querying.
  • Experience in developing Excel macros.
  • Experience in usability focused design and strong documentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must.Interacting with the Finance team members and other IT members is a core requirement of the role.
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and job prioritization skills are essential.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Accounting or Financial Management certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Oracle reporting or NetSuite is an asset.
