Service ManagerSmall hands-on family-owned customer and employee focused new car dealership. Lots of work autonomy. Looking for a Service Manager that will look at themselves as part of a small team focused on one goal. They are expected above all as respectful of the team around them. Motivating and leading them daily. Setting pay plans. Helping technicians solve mechanical issues. Submitting warranty claims for payment. Following manufacturers policy and procedures. Upholding and ensuring health and safety standards are met. Ensuring shop is booked and running at full capacity. Dealing with customers. Covering all positions in the department as back up. Marketing including pricing. Maximizing gross margin and profits and expense control.Other tasks include from time to time as needed: Writing work orders, answering phone calls, booking appointments, shuttling customers, road testing cars, booking out and ordering parts, helping techs, stocking parts, assisting parts manager and service advisors, finalizing work orders and cashing out customers.Automotive experience and or Management experience an asset.
