Employer: Ultramar Gas StationTitle: Retail Store SupervisorLocation: Hebbville, NSRate of Pay: $15.50/ hourJob Type: Full-time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per week with varying scheduleEducation: Completion of high SchoolExperience: 1 Year to less then 2 Years ExperienceJob Summary: Ultramar (Hebbville) is seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to support the establishment and development of the store. The Retail Store Supervisor is responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the activities of sales staff and cashiers.Key Responsibilities: As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

  • Supervise 3-4 staff member at a time
  • Hire, train, explain duties and other responsibilities to the new staff members.
  • Prepare the work schedules for the team and assign respective duties.
  • Ensure that the team members adhere to all Company policies and operating standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and provide constructive feedback to boost productivity.
  • Handle store related concerns and coordinate with team members on daily basis to ensure smooth operation of the store.
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints, issues and requests to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Authorize payments and return of merchandise as required by Company policies and operating standards
  • Maintain knowledge of hardware & software, Sales and merchandise stock
  • Keep track of the inventory of all items, report to the owner when inventory reaches buffer stock level and submit purchase orders to the suppliers as required
  • Prepare the report at the end of the shifts with respect to the merchandise sold and forward it to the owner.
  • Close cash at the end of the shifts and assist owner in all aspects of the management of the store
  • Ensure the image of the store such as store displays, signage and cleanliness.is maintained as per Company policies and operating standards.
