  • Grade 7 & 8 Immersion and Core French teacher (Francais, Sci Hum, Sante, & Core French)
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
  • Bachelor of Education - Secondary
  • French major at university and/or extended period of immersion in French speaking environment and/or attendance at primary and secondary where French was the language of instruction
  • Proven ability to communicate and work alongside diverse cultural and racial backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
  • Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • French Immersion training
  • Experience teaching French Immersion
  • Experience teaching Core French
  • Experience teaching Sci Hum, Sante
  • Experience teaching grades 6-8
  • Experience with Project Based Learning and Inquiry Based Learning an asset
