Job Description

Certified Power EngineerHigh Level, AlbertaOur Certified Power Engineers are our power-houses. They are pros at maintaining the machinery and Thermal Fluid Heaters that supply thermal oil to the mill site for production of lumber. They use their years of experience and training towards innovative and safe solutions when challenges arise. If this sounds like a role you might be interested in, read on to find out more!We are looking for a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our largest sawmill, located in High Level, Alberta. Our High Level Lumber Division safely and sustainably produces forest products for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 4th Class Power Engineer Certification
  • Extensive operating and maintenance experience
  • Previous experience working within a forest products manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication, leadershipamp; interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
