Job Description

Clark Construction is a mining and oilfield construction company based out of Hinton, Alberta working for resource corporations throughout Western Alberta, Canada. We supply solutions for Environmental Reclamation, Decommissioning & Demolition and Geo-Environmental Construction.Finishing Dozer Operators for a Major Reclamation ProjectChallenging technical work with tight tolerances or specifications, must be experienced in mountainous terrain.Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Able to operate a Dozer in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Inspect equipment, fluids, lights, brakes, and tires to ensure equipment is fully functional and safe for operating.
  • Able to identify hazards on sites and complete JSA’s and hazard analysis.
  • Knowledge of smooth operation of machine controls
  • Knowledge of proper loading / dumping procedures
  • Ability to operate 2-way radio
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience operating Dozers
  • Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the heavy construction, road and lease building and mountainous terrain is required.
  • Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS 09 or CSTS 2020, Standard First Aid Level C, and Ground Disturbance Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Required to work outside under all weather conditions and handle noise and vibrations.
  • Must have own Safety boots -Requirement is 8 lace up steel toed (CSA Approved).
  • All equipment operators will be expected to assist with labor activities as the job demands. Seat time will vary depending on the job scope.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
  • Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement..
Rate range: Up to $48.00/hour and LOAJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $44.00-$48.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
