Requisition Id: 22867Department: Smoky FunctionOverviewPembina Pipeline Corporation’s Resthaven Gas Plant near Grande Cache, AB is recruiting for a Tradesman, Electrical to join the team. This position reports to the Day Foreman, Maintenance in the Gas Services Business Unit (GBU), part of Pembina’s Facilities division. The Gas Services Business Unit provides gas gathering, compression, shallow cut processing and both sweet and sour deep cut processing services for its customers, primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts.Summary of ResponsibilitiesThe Tradesman, Electrical role is a camp based position that involves working a 7 on, 7 off shift schedule consisting of 12 hour shifts (days only). This role is geared towards those who are hardworking, self-motivated, and eager to be part of an effective team environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Possess a safety conscious attitude for all day to day work by ensuring Pembina’s corporate safety standards are used;Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to guide your work schedule and provide detailed information on repairs;Maintain equipment in accordance with our preventive maintenance program;Complete corrective maintenance throughout complex;Assist operations in plant optimization and troubleshooting;Provide technical support on new projects and design changes;Assist with installation, commissioning, start up, and maintenance of new equipment; andParticipate in an inclusive and diverse workplace.QualificationsElectrical Journeyman Certificate;Preference will be given to dual ticketed candidates (electrical & instrumentation);Minimum 5 years’ experience in gas plant and field operations;In-depth knowledge of VFD’s, Switchgear, MCC’s;A good understanding of both gas and liquid measurement;Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and instrumentation related problems effectively;Solid knowledge of valves, transmitters, controllers and pumps;Knowledge of Allen Bradley control systems would be an asset;Working knowledge of MS Office applications;Previous experience with SAP is an asset;Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication;Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; andSafety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid.This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.
