Shop Labourers perform general duties in our maintenance shop. Duties include operating basic hand tools and assisting mechanics. Housekeeping, material handling, and parts running are also components of this position. Duties and Responsibilities: Handle Materials – within the shop and outdoors as required, Perform Housekeeping Duties, washing trucks, vehicles, and equipment, Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools. Perform work safely and follow established work procedures. To not abuse equipment and report equipment that requires servicing or repair. Perform General Tasks as assigned by SupervisorThe Crusher laborer position will begin as a ground position assisting operators in keeping the jobsite running safely and efficiently. This includes sweeping catwalks, greasing bearings, clearing pathways, tracking conveyor belts, recognizing and reporting mechanical issues, cleaning the grounds with a skid steer, water hose and shovel, and learning how the plant functions to obtain the ability to operate the plant. This position follows our portable rock crushing plant, which is typically stationed in the Hinton, AB area.
